 Restylane is a natural cosmetic dermal filler used to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds or enhance the lips. It is made of a hyaluronic acid that is a natural substance already existing in the human body.
In a simple procedure, Restylane is injected directly into facial wrinkles and folds. To optimize your comfort, topical or injected anesthesia maybe administered. Results from a typical Restylane treatment can last for about six months. However, individual results may vary.

Post treatment instructions:
Please follow these instructions carefully after each Restylane® treatment:
- You might notice some swelling or bruising post treatment. If you tend to bruise easily we recommend Arnica Montana starting two days before your procedure. You can contact our office for more specific details.
- Ice may be gently applied as needed.
- Do not massage, press or manipulate the treated areas for several hours.
- Makeup may be lightly applied immediately after treatment. There may be some slight bruising for a couple of days.
- You may resume your daily activities. Avoid strenuous exercise the day of your treatment.
- Occasionally touch-up treatments are needed, if you feel this is necessary contact us.
