Radiesse® at Knoxville Aesthetics
 Radiesse® is an injectable filler that offers a non-surgical approach to shaping and contouring the face. Touted as a superior filler by physicians and patients alike, Radiesse® offers immediate results. Radiesse® is made of very small, smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres found in human bone and teeth. Extensive research and testing has been done to prove its safety and effectiveness.
In a simple procedure, Radiesse® is injected directly into facial wrinkles and folds. To optimize your comfort, topical or injected anesthesia maybe administered. Results from a typical Radiesse® treatment can last for about 9 to 12 months. However, individual results may vary.

Post treatment instructions:
Please follow these instructions carefully after each Radiesse® treatment:
- You might notice some swelling or bruising post treatment. If you tend to bruise easily we recommend Arnica Montana starting two days before your procedure. You can contact our office for more specific details.
- Ice may be gently applied as needed.
- Do not massage, press or manipulate the treated areas for several hours.
- Makeup may be lightly applied immediately after treatment. There may be some slight bruising for a couple of days.
- You may resume your daily activities. Avoid strenuous exercise the day of your treatment.
- Occasionally touch-up treatments are needed, if you feel this is necessary contact us.
