WHAT IS BOTOX® COSMETIC?
 BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein, which is the only FDA-approved treatment for the temporary reduction of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. The treatment is minimally invasive, non-surgical and performed by our Registered Nurse. There is minimal to no discomfort and no recovery time. You can even have the procedure on your lunch break! Botox injections temporarily relax the facial muscles where your expression lines deepen and become more noticeable. With less movement, the skin surface gradually smoothes out, and the frown lines begin to fade. This is particularly effective and preventative on the wrinkles of the forehead, between the eyes and crow’s feet. A few injections taking only a few minutes produce noticeable results in 3 to 7 days. Results of Botox injections last up to four months, individual results may vary.

Post treatment instructions:
Please follow these instructions carefully after each BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment:
- You might notice some slight swelling at the injection site.
- After your treatment, keep your head and neck completely upright for the next 4 hours. Do not bend over or lay down flat.
- Raise and lower eyebrows several times over the next hour working the treated muscles.
- Allow at least 4 hours to pass before touching, pressing or manipulating the treated areas.
- Makeup may be lightly applied immediately after treatment. There may be some slight bruising for a couple of days.
- You may resume your daily activities. Avoid strenuous exercise the day of your treatment.
- Results are not immediately apparent. You may notice some changes in 3-5 days and complete effects may not be realized for up to 2 weeks.
- Occasionally touch-up treatments are needed, if you feel this is necessary contact us.
